Attached Files
Attached files can be attached to all entities in the software. Depending on the type of view there are different configurations for how the attached files are shown.
The standard attached files view is found by default in the:
- run sheet
- tyre wear
- event data
- session data
- it may also appear in views defined in a plugin
The buttons along the top of the view are:

Add a new attached file | |
If there is an image on the clipboard it will be added as an attached file. A pop up will allow a file name to be entered. | |
Download the selected attached file | |
Save As - lets the selected attached file be saved elsewhere on the computer | |
Deletes the selected attached from the local computer (this doesn't affect any other users) | |
Deletes the selected attached from the server and the local computer (this is permanent and affects all users) | |
Shows additional columns in the table | |
Toggle between grid and table mode |
When in table mode the server status and local status of the file are shown by icons. When a file is uploading or downloading the local status will show the progress of the transfer.
Server Status
Icon | Description |
---|---|
The file is currently being uploaded to the server by the user who created the attached file | |
The file has been uploaded to the server and is available for download |
Local Status
Icon | Description |
---|---|
The file has not been downloaded and therefore is not available locally | |
The file has been downloaded and therefore is available locally | |
The download failed with an unrecoverable error. The file needs to get deleted remotely and re-uploaded |
